In its 41 years of publishing, ATW has been thanked with an extremely dedicated and talented cluster of people. Sadly, in 2005 we have had to say goodbye to any of our finest.

Arthur Re who died forward Jan. 11 at the age of 76 was a highly regarded member of the European aviation journalism establishment well before he joined ATW as European Editor in 1972 a position he held for the nearest 27 years, retiring only at the extremity of 1999 at the age of 71
