McDonnell Douglas MD-81 MD-82 MD-83 and MD-87 MD-88 and MD-90-30: NPRM proposal requires installation of a pipe support and clamps onward the hydraulic lines in the aft fuselage; replacement of the hydraulic pipe assembly in the aft fuselage with a fresh pipe assembly; and installation of drain tube assemblies and diverter assemblies in the area of the auxiliary power unit (APU) inlet. Actions are intended to hinder hydraulic fluid leakage due to fatigue vibration and cracking in the flared radius of a hydraulic pipe in the aft fuselage. make comments [i]or[/i] remarkss due March 3, 2000. McDonnell Douglas DC-8: AD, final lordship requires a one-time eddy now passing conductivity test to determine the material shadow of the lower cap of the wing fore-rank spar; and modification of the lower cap of the wing brass spar, if necessary. McDonnell Douglas MD-90: AD, final dominion requires a visual inspection to find fatigue cracking of certain longeron and the attaching frames of the lower left nose; and repair, if necessary.
